“It’s great, that SOS IRB Action came into existence in our country, simultaneously with dynamic developing of rugby in brand-new centers. In last 5 years rugby equipment has been delivered to almost 50 school and teens clubs, and very often it was the one and only material form of help.                  SOS's Richard Westaway and John Broadfoot recently visited Poland to see for themselves the development of junior rugby in Poland. Richard and John attended a junior rugby festival at which half the teams were wearing SOS rugby kit. It was Richard's first visit to see SOS's work at first hand and he was very impressed and came back fired up with even more enthusiasm if that's possible ! John and Richard also had great pleasure in seeing a rampant Polish National Team put 30 points on the visiting Maltese National Team at a great rugby event staged in front of an enthusiatic local crowd of 3000+ in the rugby mad town of Siedlce near Warsaw. The Federation laid on a magnificent event with great half time entertainment with a marching band, a choir to sing the anthems, a battle re-enactment topped with a dancing display. Everyone had a magnificent time and the Fderation were delighted with the team performance because in previous years the two teams have been very close. This was a very promising performance and bodes well for the future. SOS wishes them every success and thanks for a great rugby trip.
